Rogue Element Inc. is pleased to announce the winner of the 2009 Green Design Grant. The winner is RACHNA (Research, Advocacy and Communication in Himalayan Areas), an independent nonprofit organization that works for lasting protection of the Himalayan ecosystems. RACHNA is developing a community based rural tourism enterprise that will provide authentic rural experience involving stay in Guest Houses owned and run by the Himalayan village communities, mountain trekking, village walks, bird watching, cultural events, local organic food, authentic yoga exercises and environmental education in villages of Garhwal Himalayas.
